A strong tropical wave continues to stew in the eastern Bahamas. Conditions are favorable for the system to develop into a depression as it slowly moves toward the NW. Another wave was located in the SE Gulf of Mexico moving westward.
The Satellite passed over the area from SSE to NNW at 5:45 PM EDT.
