Hurricane "Jeanne" with 115 mph winds about 150 miles east of the upper SE coast of Florida.

The Satellite passed over the area from NNE to SSW at 8:00 AM EDT.

Multi-spectral image along with thermal values indicating cloud top temperatures. There is a relationship to the cloud top temperature to the intensity of the storm and to the rainfall rates: The colder the cloud tops, the more intense the storm and the heavier rain potential

Multi-spectral image use the two visible channels and one thermal channel of the weather satellite. Most of the image is of the visible light with the high thin clouds tinted blue
